2018 – 2019 Mesothelioma Warrior Candle Lighting List
Please note, any Mesothelioma Warrior Candle Lighting name submitted after December 15, 2018 will be added to the list for our 2019 Global Asbestos Awareness Week Candle Lighting Tradition on April 7, 2019. 
In honor of the longstanding Mesothelioma Warrior Candle Lighting tradition, we will light candles on Friday, December 28th in loving memory of the Warriors we’ve lost, and again on Friday, January 4, 2019 in support of Warriors who continue to bravely fight.
This year, many new Mesothelioma Warriors names were added to the Candle Lighting list, which brings the total number to over 1,000 people. It is so meaningful to have a chance to hold these beloved Warriors close to our hearts, especially during the holiday season.
Since Mesothelioma Warrior Jill Vaughn started this tradition in 2000, candle lighting has brought hope and inspiration to our community, year after year. While Jill tragically passed away years ago, ADAO has been grateful to continue this tradition that became so important to Jill and many others.
May the flames of hope, courage, and community continue to burn brightly in our hearts forever.
