2012 “Steve McQueen Tribute Dinner” Silent Auction

ADAO is pleased to announce a special celebratory dinner on Saturday, March 31, 2012 as part of its 8th Annual International Asbestos Awareness Conference. For the first time, our conference will be hosted in Los Angeles and we will be hosting a silent auction. We will be honoring Hollywood legend Steve McQueen posthumously among others and need your help collecting silent auction gifts! Items relating to pop culture, film, and “Hollywood” are especially welcome, though items such as time shares, season tickets, and exclusive or hard-to-get items are also welcome. Thank you!

The 8th Annual International Asbestos Awareness Conference, Asbestos: “An International Public Health Crisis,” will bring together renowned experts and asbestos victims in a united forum to enhance asbestos awareness, education, treatment, and collaboration. Support for the conference benefits the work of the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization.
About Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO)
Founded in 2004 by victims of asbestos-related disease and their families, the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) seeks to unite asbestos victims and concerned citizens as one voice to raise public awareness about the dangers of asbestos exposure and asbestos-related diseases. Since its inception, ADAO has focused on the foundational pillars of education, advocacy, and community. It has united thousands of patients, scientists, industrial hygienists, political leaders, and advocates; served as Congressional witness; produced cutting-edge educational resources; pioneered social media advocacy and digital technology; and managed consumer product testing.
