As a colleague in the EHS field, I am excited to invite you to the 7th Annual International Asbestos Awareness Conference from April 1 – 3, 2011 in Atlanta, GA.

This year’s conference, “Asbestos: Impact on Public Health, Environment, and the Economy”, brings together global experts with a combined 400 years of experience to discuss what asbestos is, where it can be found, what you should do with it, and who you can call for help. Experts in the field will also share resources helpful for your clients, such as ADAO’s “Education Starts at Home” house graphic, which highlights common hiding places of this known deadly carcinogen.

I attended the conference last year and learned crucial information about the prevention, early detection, and treatment of asbestos-related disease and resources to assist those affected.

This conference presents an opportunity to refresh our knowledge and commitment to protecting the health and safety of our co-workers, friends, family, communities, and, ultimately, the global environment and economy. Continuing education credits are also available.
