The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) is hosting its 19th Congressional Staff Luncheon Briefing, “Impact of Asbestos on Public Health, Environment, and Economy,” on Monday, July 22nd, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET. This important event will underscore the ongoing efforts to end asbestos imports and use in the United States, with an emphasis on the pervasive issue of legacy asbestos that can still be found in our homes, schools, workplaces, and the environment. Attendees will receive detailed materials highlighting the extent of asbestos exposure among their constituencies.
