I am delighted and honored to participate for the seventh time at the virtual Global Health & Innovation Conference (#GHIC). This year’s conference is being held virtually on April 21-22 and is hosted by Unite For Sight, a nonprofit organization.

The Global Health & Innovation Conference annually convenes over 2,200 participants from more than 50 countries to exchange ideas and best practices to improve public health and international development. The conference participants bring experience from a wide variety of disciplines, ranging from students to medical and public health professionals to philanthropists.

I’m proud to join the public health leaders in the Friday, April 21 10:00-11:00 am ET session, “Being Bold, Having Vision”. I will be  joining prominent experts, including:

  • Chris Addy, Partner, The Bridgespan Group
  • Charlotte Cole, Executive Director, Blue Butterfly Collaborative
  • Gary Oppenheimer, Founder and Executive Director, Ample Harvest
  • Linda Reinstein, President and Cofounder, Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization
  • Lisa Russell, Emmy-Winning Filmmaker and Founder, Create2030
  • Alexandra Scott, President, Global Environment & Technology Foundation, and Director of Program Delivery, Project Last Mile

I look forward to connecting with conference individuals, organizations, universities, and social entrepreneurs to focus on bold ideas, deep conversations, and tangible solutions. As we work to advance ADAO’s mission to prevent exposure and eliminate asbestos-caused diseases, we need to join together as a global community dedicated to public health and prevention of diseases.

Together, we make change happen.
