I am delighted and honored to participate for a sixth time at the Global Health & Innovation Conference (#GHIC). While usually hosted by Yale University, this year’s conference will be held virtually from April 8-11 due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The Global Health & Innovation Conference annually convenes over 2,200 participants from more than 50 countries to exchange ideas and best practices to improve public health and international development. The conference participants bring experience from a wide variety of disciplines, and includes students, nurses, doctors, policy makers, nonprofit directors and volunteers, public health professionals, health educators, community health workers, researchers, social scientists, social workers, social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, teachers, lawyers, and business executives.

I’m proud to join the public health leaders in the Sunday 11:00 – 11:50 am ET during the “Lessons from the Field: Turning Ideas into Policies” session which will address a variety of crucial issues:

Health Policy & Advocacy Speakers

  • Jeffrey Blander, Chief Innovation Office Coordinator, PEPFAR Program Management, Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy, U.S. Department of State
  • Sam Daley-Harris, Founder and Principal, Civic Courage, A Program of RESULTS Educational Fund
  • Andrea Feigl-Ding, Founder and CEO, Health Finance Institute

I look forward to connecting with conference individuals, organizations, universities, and social entrepreneurs to focus on BOLD IDEAS. DEEP CONVERSATIONS. TRANSFORMATIVE INNOVATION. As we work to advance ADAO’s mission to prevent exposure and eliminate asbestos-caused diseases.

Together, we make change happen.
