ADAO is currently working to encourage the U.S. Senate to pass The Alan Reinstein Ban Asbestos Now Act of 2017 (ARBAN), introduced earlier this month. ARBAN would result in a federal asbestos ban — free from industry exemptions — within 18 months.
As an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit, ADAO has relies entirely on the generous donations from our supporter to keep doing our work. More than 90% of donations directly fund our educational and advocacy campaigns. This year, our energies and resources are focused in on making this ban a reality.
